HABITABLE VOID

This project positions the architectural void not merely as a spatial or structural foundation, but as its central object of inquiry. A void of use, a void of habitation, yet a space charged with latent potential.

CINEMA IS A VERB

The “Wandering Cinema” is a transient, fully accessible structure landing on the school terrace, detached from the existing building and supported by six structural legs, creating a functional cinema and experimental space for students and the neighborhood.

LONGHOUSE

The concept of the “longhouse” as an architectural typology has existed for centuries. Its linear organization allows different degrees of intimacy to coexist within a single continuous space.

RE-USE

This project explored a circular approach to interior architecture in collaboration with APROPA, focusing on material reuse and eco-design. Working with an existing site, the workshop investigated how to identify and valorize available resources, test dismantling possibilities, and design from reclaimed materials, challenging the culture of overconsumption in the construction sector.

CUBE HOUSE

This project explores the concept of the “thing-in-itself,” a central idea in Kantian philosophy describing reality as it exists independently of human perception. The project examines the tension between what an object is in itself and what it becomes through our experience of it, questioning whether architecture can exist beyond the way we perceive and interpret it.

INVISIBLE VISIBLE

The project takes the fish’s invisibility to the extreme, using transparency as a metaphor: an opaque aquarium hides the fish completely, while light projects its silhouette onto the ceiling, making the invisible perceptible in another form.

VOID

For the project “Dictionary of Architectural Terms,” the chosen term was void, explored through the emptiness of urban wastelands. To understand and experience these spaces, a reverse model was created in which the buildings remained empty while the surrounding void was filled with concrete, shifting the focus from the built environment to the spaces between it that shape the city.

THE APELLES MARK

The project is inspired by the classical motif of Apelles and his legendary fine line, later explored in Boris Pasternak’s The Mark of Apelles. This subtle line became a metaphor for privacy, which I sought to express through the division and organization of space.
