Loneliness is a negative state. Solitude is positive. In dictionaries, loneliness and solitude appear as synonyms, but they are not.
Solitude is being alone, not lonely. Loneliness is a forced stay with oneself, an uncomfortable state. Solitude - a conscious choice to be with yourself, comfort alone with yourself.
In philosophy, intentionality is the power of minds and mental states to be about, to represent, or to stand for, things, properties and states of affairs.
The Apelles Mark
The idea behind this project based on my feelings. The word that comprehensively describes my feeling is PRIVACY. My intention was to strengthen this feeling and to convey this feeling to others. For that purpose, I decided to divide the space into two by building two planes which form a corner. In my opinion, a corner is a symbol of privacy because there is never room for many people, usually only for one person. By dividing the space, I believe that I create more privacy and in turn leave more room for those who just pass by.
