RE-USE

The construction sector is one of the most polluting in the world. What was seen as a source of value a few centuries ago has become a source of waste. We are facing an over-consumption of materials, equipment and lighting, to the detriment of the environment and people’s well-being.

On this course with APROPA we tried to develop skills related to a circular approach of interior architecture by making aware of the alternatives and different actors linked to the reuse of materials and eco-conception. The course took place working on a specific site to rediscover and valorize its ressources. Different actions were explored during the workshop. we have learnt to identify the value of materials, to test the possibilities of dismantling and to design from available ressources.
