INVISIBLE VISIBLE

In this project, I wanted to take the invisibility of this fish to the extreme, making transparency a metaphor. This is how the idea of creating an opaque aquarium appeared, in which the fish would not be visible at all. And to emphasize transparency with light, then we won’t see the fish through the walls of the aquarium, but we will be able to see its silhouette on the ceiling.

The choice of the animal was indicated not only by its aesthetic and external features, but also by the presence of a problem. I chose a glass perch, which is characterized by a translucent color. Of course, the fish is not completely transparent and can be seen in the water. However, in some countries, these fish are abused: they are tinted and highlighted with ultraviolet lamps, thereby reducing the lifespan of the fish.
