CUBE HOUSE
This project is a THING-IN-ITSELF - one of the central concepts of epistemology, and then of Kant’s ethics. these things exist “in themselves”, in contrast to what they are “for us” in our knowledge. It is absolute reality, not as it appears to us, but as it really is. The thing-in-itself is by definition unknowable: as soon as we know it, it ceases to be a thing-in-itself and becomes a thing for us. Nevertheless, the thing-in-itself lends itself to comprehension, moreover, such comprehension is necessary. If there were no things in themselves, there would be no things for us. The objects of sensibility in their spatio-temporal form exist only in human perception, but at the same time we think something that retains its being apart from perception.
This house is directed inward and only those who owns it can acknowledge it. House designed in such a way that only the owner decides which parts of the house will be introduced to the guests. It has two exits from opposite sides, one for the use of the family, the other for clients and customers, entering through which they go directly to the office or workshop. Also, a glass corridor between the residential and non-residential areas, makes the house visible, but inaccessible. But if desired, the staircase-corridor can turn into a portal to the residential part of the house, one has only to push the doors apart.
